Spyker B6 Venator Concept
Spyker B6 Venator Concept, a two-door mid-engine that powered by 350hp V6 with 6 speed automatic and running on a 19-inch rear wheels. It comes with aluminum frame and carbon fiber making it lighter and also features a oversized radiator grille, the 1903-era logo, a turned aluminium fascia on the dashboard, and red cover on the ignition switch recall Spyker’s automotive and aeronautical past. Unlike other concepts, the Spyker B6 Venator is going into production, expected to be out on Autumn 2014 at $150,000. At first glance, I really thought it was a Maserati.

South Korea rolls out world’s first commercial electric bus service

South Korea rolls out world’s first commercial electric bus service
The city of Seoul is going green with the roll out of probably the world’s first electric bus service in the city. The Seoul Metropolitan Government is going all out with working commercial service, developed in agreement with Hyundai Heavy Industries and Hankuk Fiber, and the buses themselves can run up to about 52 miles on a single charge (which takes about 30 minutes). Besides, it can also go up to 62 miles per hour. Though several other cities have small fleets of electric public transportation, Seoul has announced that half of its massive fleet of buses will be electric by 2020. This will be a good start, as South Korea International Expo 2012 is getting near.

Mazda MX-5 Superlight

Mazda MX-5 Superlight

Mazda has uncveiled a new MX-5 Superlight Concept. It is a 2193-pound track-oriented concept that features Eibach anti-roll bars in the front and rear and 17-inch wheels coated in 205/45 rubber.

“The dash is a custom fiberglass and plastic unit, with the stock MX-5’s gauges joining an engine-start button bringing to life the standard 1.8-liter four-cylinder (putting out 126 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque) and equipped with a Mazdaspeed cold-air intake and exhaust. But with the diet and minimal engine mods, the run from 0-to-60 MPH comes in at 8.9 seconds.”
