Samsung Spinpoint F3 HDD

Samsung has announced their new line of high-density hard drives, the Spinpoint F3, for high-end computing environments. It comes in 500GB and 1TB capacities and these new new 3.5-inch drives work at 7200RPM and feature a 3.0 Gbps SATA interface, Native Command Queuing (NCQ), a 16MB/32MB buffer memory, and make use of 500GB platters. They have released the 500GB to the worldwide while the 1TB we’ll have to wait for next month (hey next month is just tomorrow).
