Shure, the famous ‘headset and mic’ company has just introduced three new models at the NAMM trade show. The first is a bud. It’s the SE 215 which is a wallet-friendly single driver earbud. You get a choice of black or fancy translucent casing, and it comes in a MSRP of $99. For the cans, there are two new boys in the shelf. The first is the SRH550DJ (the middle one) which is targeted at DJs as the name says. “Super-aural design” is the main show here, as they have full isolation and a 90-degree swivelling headband for flexible wearing positions so that DJs can do their DJ post of clipping one can with their shoulder. You know the DJ post. It only cost $99, so it’s not very expensive to be a DJ you know. The SRH940 however is not a cheap feat. It’s billed as a reference set; hopefully you know what that means. Premium padded headband, and it’s got a $299 price tag with it. So if you want to be a posh music listener, this might just be the thing for you.
